Pedalfish Cottages are made up of two semi-detached units, “Galaxy Views” and “Milky Way” joined by a lockable internal door. Pedalfish converts perfectly to a three bedroom cottage that can sleep up to six for larger groups. You’ll have full access to the open plan kitchen/dining, 2 bathrooms, 2 living spaces, wood fire and gas heating.

Gaze at the stars through the skylight on your king size bed in the master bedroom in “Galaxy Views”. “Milky Way” has a kitchenette/dining/living with gas heating, two bedrooms with queen size beds and a generous bathroom. One of the original Twizel Hydro Houses moved here when the town was first established we have fully renovated so you have all of the modern conveniences while staying in a piece of history.

Our house was one of the original Ministry of Works houses built to house the workers on the Power Project. It has been extensively renovated and is fully wheel chair accessible. There are two bathrooms and it is very spacious, warm and sunny, with two large heat pumps and a log burner (firewood supplied) to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter.
The house is centrally located and close to reserves, playing fields and walkways, with shops and restaurants just minutes walk away. It is on a back section, very quiet with great views of the night sky and plenty of off street parking. The space is decorated with a collection of our favourite pieces of art and a well stocked library of books for you to enjoy during your stay and making sure you feel right at home.

If you are looking for a getaway in quiet street, close to town that is sunny, warm and comfortable – then this Simon St Twizel house is just right for you. Very much still a Kiwi Bach this is an only partially renovated original Twizel Hydro House.
There is plenty of off street parking for vehicles, a covered deck, great back yard and well appointed living spaces inside to enjoy.
